How Your Zodiac Sign Ties In With Tarot Cards
It’s not broadly recognized that Tarot cards actually go hand in hand with Astrology. Numerology also ties in with those but I’ll explain that in a later article.
Because Tarot and Astrology are the most important, I want to talk to you about the little-known connection between Astrology and Tarot…
You might want to keep reading if you’d like to know the mysteries of these to tools of divination that helps women like you in love and life!
The Astrology And Tarot Link
For as long as history stretches back, Astrology has been used to determine one’s personality, health, and determining how to proceed in life. Tarot was actually brought into the world in the 1400’s.
When Tarot was thought of and created, they were looking into Astrology and its profound information about people. They wanted to do something that was simple to use that could do something similar to Astrology.
The Golden Dawn Tarot Deck is one of the most popular for its simplicity and easy-to-use divination. It’s also interesting to know that both Zodiac and Tarot correspondence are usually complimentary with each other.
Zodiac And Tarot Correspondences
What does that mean exactly? How does your Horoscope and Tarot complement one another?
In looking at Zodiac and Horoscope correspondence, you can often read your Horoscope then have your Tarot Cards read only to find out that they are almost exactly the same!
Your Horoscope may tell you it’s an amazing day for love so don’t be shy, and then your Tarot card of the day happens to be the 2 of Cups! It’s almost identical!
Zodiac signs and Tarot is a lot more closely related than you would think. In the next section I want to tell you how awesome it is to use both and how the information is useful for you.
Horoscope And Tarot, The Answers You Want
Horoscopes are written up by looking at the various Astrological transits that are happening at any particular time. The monthly ones show you everything that is brewing for the month.
Typically, we look at an Ephemeris to determine what the planets are doing and how long they will be doing it. That’s a chart that has all the planets aspects and changes along with the signs they are in as well as the date.
The tarot cards are numbered, which has a meaning all on its own via Numerology. However, with Astrology, each card will be tied to either a planet or an Astrological sign.
You can derive a time schedule of when something may be happening by not only the number, but what sign it’s in. Let’s say you ask: “When will my boyfriend get more serious with me?” and the tarot card is associated with Sagittarius.
Sagittarius happens in November and December. That would mean that if you are in July, you’d have to wait until later for him to possibly commit. Now, let’s say if it has a planet instead of a Zodiac, such as Jupiter.
Then Jupiter’s current Astrological aspect will play a more significant role as to the time frame. That’s a cross reference between your Horoscope and Tarot. I know, this might sound complicated but really, it’s easier than you think!
Zodiac Signs And Tarot Cards -The Deeper Connection
Major and Major Arcana will determine for you what the aspects will likely be as far as if it will be Zodiac signs or planets. Check this out…
One of the first things you look for are the elements on the cards, because they will determine which of the Astrological sign groupings you’re working with. You’ll either notice water, air, fire, or earth in the picture of the card.
The feel from the element will also be tied in with the suits of the Tarot (Cups, Swords, Wands, and Pentacles or Coins). Cups will be the water elements which are the Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces signs.
The Swords will be the air signs (Aquarius, Gemini, and Libra). The Wand suit will be fire (Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius). Then finally the Pentacles will be the earth signs (Capricorn, Virgo, and Taurus).
How cool is that?! Now you’re getting the idea of how deep the Zodiac signs and Tarot cards go. There is much to learn and much to understand.
Wait, there’s more!
We can dig a bit into each Zodiac sign and it’s tie in with the tarot cards.
Aries (Fire Sign): 2, 3, & 4 of Wands in Tarot.
Taurus (Earth Sign): 5, 6, & 7 of Pentacles.
Gemini (Air Sign): 8, 9, & 10 of Swords.
Cancer (Water Sign): 2, 3, & 4 of Cups
Leo (Fire Sign): 5, 6, & 7 of Wands.
Virgo (Earth Sign): 8, 9, 10 of Pentacles.
Libra (Air Sign): 2, 3, & 4 of Swords
Scorpio (Water Sign): 5, 6, & 7 of Cups.
Sagittarius (Fire Sign): 8, 9, & 10 of Wands
Capricorn (Earth Sign): 2, 3, & 4 of Pentacles
Aquarius (Air Sign): 5, 6, & 7 of Swords
Pisces (Water Sign): 8, 9, & 10 of Cups
Now that you’re able to see for yourself where these join forces together, you can better see how your Horoscope is more expanded when you are using both your Zodiac sign and Tarot Cards.
One More Thing…
There are mutable (changeable or flexible) signs and fixed (stubborn, unmovable) signs. Then there are cardinal (initiators, leaders) signs. (These are also called modalities)
The card numbers on the cards align with Astrology. When you look at any of the suits in the cards that are 2, 3, or 4, you are working with the cardinal signs. Those would be Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn Zodiac signs.
Numbers 5, 6, or 7 would be your fixed signs in the Zodiac. These would be the signs of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, and Aquarius. They’re less likely to budge when you want them to move faster. If you get the Tarot that coordinates with your guy, then this makes perfect sense.
Finally, there are the mutable signs, which are Sagittarius, Virgo, Pisces, and Gemini. They are go with the flow kind of people – spontaneous, and adventurous. These are the ones you can have fun with and be yourself around. The numbers in the cards would be 8, 9, and 10.
How is that for a tie in? Pretty incredible isn’t it? It really does go in depth for a more descript answer to your questions if you really want to know about the Zodiac signs and Tarot Card connection.

Astrology And Tarot Healing…
You’re probably thinking: “how in the world would Astrology and Tarot help heal?” Tarot gives you healing advice and direction. Tarot is very wise and can actually give you information on your health just as the Astrology does!
With Astrology, your 8th house may contain your health problems, or what you may have trouble with throughout your life. This includes physical health as well as mental health.
Something else to consider is what planetary aspects are currently transiting through your 8th house or what your birth planet means via health.
Your Zodiac sign also can be telling of problems you may have with your health. Both things have to be looked at in your birth chart to fully determine what may be going on or what you need to watch for in the future.
Tarot kind of does something similar. The Tarot Card suits play a role in your health. Cups can be about health and could be a sign that you’re on the mend to healing or that you need more work.
Swords will tell you that you need rest or healing or will say that you’re in tip top shape physically and emotionally. Another example is if card of the day is 4 of Cups. This could be telling you you’re not seeing yourself as you should.
You might be body shaming yourself or disappointed in your physique. Maybe you’re depressed or dealing with anxiety. This would affirm or tell you this is something you should get help for so it doesn’t get any worse.
Now, you may get 4 of Swords, which tells you that you absolutely need to take some time to yourself to relax and recover from illness. It may also be a head’s up, cautioning you to take it easy or you will become ill thus being forced to rest.
You can also ask questions like “is it a good time for surgery?” and both Astrology’s and Tarot Cards’ healing wisdom will tell you whether or not you should take on this endeavor.
Let’s take a peek at what your Zodiac signs mean in Astrology regarding your health and what to look out for:
Aries: There are possible issues with your head, brain, or mental health. This would include things like headaches (migraines), teeth grinding related pain, problems with your teeth, and possibly blemishes on your face.
Taurus: Possible issues with thyroid, stiff neck, ear problems, tonsil infections, possibilities of recurring colds or the flu. Be careful with your throat. If you have problems, go see a doctor!
Gemini: Dual body parts are where you will have trouble or could have possible problems. This would be like your arms, legs, feet, hands, breasts, or testicles. You may be sensitive to colds and the flu as well.
Cancer: You have a sensitive intestinal system and stomach. Your emotions can cause you to have a multitude of issues within those such as acid reflux, digestion problems, or even indigestion. This could cause you to become overweight as well.
Leo: Blood and Circulatory system including the heart is a possible misfortune here if not watched and taken care of. This ties to back problems, heart, and lethargy. Exercise and less cholesterol would help!
Virgo: You may have problems with your intestines and stomach. It’s possible to have heartburn, ulcers, allergies to food, or even constipation and diarrhea. Watch what you eat! Colin cancer is another to be aware of.
Libra: Your food processing function in your body may develop situations that are indeed difficult. You may have poor absorption of nutrients. Watch out for your bladder and kidneys. Drink lots of water!
Scorpio: You run totally on your feelings and that makes you have a malady of problems in your body. Your reproductive system could become out of whack, your hormones may be up and down, period, urinary tract infections, or bladder problems can also develop.
Sagittarius: Hips and lower back are a problem. This is especially true as you age. Your eyesight may worsen over the years as well. You may start out with reading glasses and then later need something more permanent. Be careful with your spine!
Capricorn: Knee problems, bone weakening, or joint deterioration are what you should beware of. Be sure you’re exercising properly and eating foods that help with bones or joints. Try not to be too stubborn because it literally speaks to your body.
Aquarius: Your mobility may be limited as time goes on. You may develop arthritis or joint pain. Watch out for your heart, your arms, legs, shoulders, or inflamed joints. Asthma development or allergies can become more prominent.
Pisces: The nervous system is what may ail you. Your emotions will dictate where you will have your problems in the body. Reflexes may become less sharp, your immune system can weaken, and you’re susceptible to disease. Be careful with your emotions. Find a healthy outlet!
That covers the basics of Astrology and health. Tarot also points out things that may be wrong or need help. Cups dictate your emotional health, heart, circulatory system, or blood.
Swords can represent pain, surgery, and healing. Wands can also tell you of your health problems that include joints, limbs, and spine. Pentacles will let you know when it’s time to get help or things you can do to get the funding you need.
The Major Arcana in the cards give you quite a bit of information on your health and what you can do. There is a lot to be said from using divinatory sources for Astrology and Tarot healing.
