The Moon rules our emotions in Astrology. It is the thing that represents the way we respond to the world on a basic instinct. It is our reactions, the way we show our vulnerability, our intuition, our daily habits, and all the little rituals we do to feel safe and secure in the world.
The Moon is definitely very sensitive but seriously packs a punch in our love lives. Out of all the planetary bodies, I think the Moon is probably the most important and helpful when it comes to understanding our relationships.
After all, our emotions are the way we relate to others and show our empathy and compassion to the world. It is also the way we respond to the highs and lows of life, the joys, and the heartbreaks.
When I look at the chart of a couple, the first thing that I usually look at is if their Moon signs are compatible. This by far outweighs what I see when I look at their Sun signs. You can see the way two people respond to each other’s emotions by looking at their Moon signs.
Did you know that each planet is either comfortable, uncomfortable, or totally neutral in a particular sign in Astrology? When it comes to the Moon, it is most comfortable in Cancer or Taurus, so if you have your Moon in either of these signs, you are lucky!
Because the Moon is all about nurturing, and taking care of needs it makes sense that the Moon would thrive in these two signs. Both Cancer and Taurus are very nurturing signs and love to take care of others.

I can understand why you are attracted to a Sagittarius man. Leo and Sagittarius will instantly hit it off and they’ll want to get closer very quickly. They may not have a whole lot in common as far as interests but they have enough going that they’ll keep each other excited in a relationship.

I divorced an Air sign in 2008 and married a Water sign in 2007. You didn’t mention your sun sign which also plays a role. His Venus indicates he’s best with Leo or another fire sign (Aries, Sagittarius). Your Mars is in Libra which means the best guy for you would be a Libra or other air sign (Gemini, Aquarius). Looking at that his Moon being Aquarius is a good thing. That’s emotional connection or understanding. That may be the ticket to your compatibility. You two could compliment each other nicely. You should have a chart comparison done to find out more.
