I’ve mentioned that Sun signs alone aren’t always the full story when describing people. There is a lot more to a person and what they need in love.

One of the things you should explore when looking to Astrology for guidance is the Venus and Mars placements for yourself and your potential partner.

Venus is who a woman is in love, and what she needs or looks for in love. Mars is who a man is in love with, and what partner works for him. This is a HUGE part of the Soulmate puzzle!

I just mentioned how Moon signs operate similarly to Sun signs as far as compatibility goes. When someone has Aries as their Sun but has Pisces as their Moon, this opens up their choices in love.

They find that they’re strong, active, and smart, and then their Pisces Moon makes them softer and more in touch with their feelings. They can open up better than their Sun sign.

Now, let’s try another example…

Kristine is a Cancer with a Capricorn Moon. Ordinarily, she might be someone who lets her feelings rule her. She may not always think rationally, but her Capricorn Moon helps to ground her a bit more.

You may seek someone to marry who is very stable, smart, and logical. This person only opens up to the right one and takes their time. Let’s say that Venus is transiting through the seventh house with another earth sign, like Taurus.

You’d be looking to an Earth sign that could very well be the one for you. The same principle goes for a Moon transit! The Moon transiting your seventh house with a certain sign may be “a committed relationship.”
