Crystals are amazing healing tools, but you have to know how to work with them to get their full benefit. A lot of time people just buy a crystal without doing any proper cleansing to get rid of its absorbed energy.
Just think about all the people who have touched the stone before it landed in your lap. So, it is really important to do some kind of cleansing to get rid of any energy that might not benefit you in healing.
There are three different methods that I swear by, and that is cleansing with smoke, in the ground, or by the Full Moon. If you have a smudge stick you can use it to cleanse a crystal, or you can also bury your crystal in some earth for about an hour.
This should help to remove any negative energy the crystal may have absorbed. Then the most powerful cleansing tool is to place your crystals out in the moonlight around the Full Moon. Nothing beats this method. Your crystals will be fully charged and ready to go.
I would advise not to let others touch your crystals because their energy can really impact the effectiveness of your crystal’s use. But if someone does happen to touch one of your gems you can always revert back to one of the cleansing methods mentioned above.
You can really use your crystals in any way you feel drawn to. I personally like to wear my crystals in jewelry form, and of course, they are scattered all over my home. You can also put them on your body and hold them in your hand during meditation. The possibilities are endless!
