I feel that, over the Mercury retrograde period, people were particularly reticent—cautious, not wanting to put their heart on the line. In many cases, they delayed decisions and played it safe in love.

The Mercury retrograde also caused an unusual amount of indecisiveness. Now, Venus is still retrograde until next week, but at least with Mercury turning direct, there’s a sense of momentum building again in the air after a rather quiet March.

We also have Venus trine Mars in Cancer, which represents an emotional, touchy-feely attitude, adding to the romance of Mercury, which is conjunct Neptune. This is definitely a time for love letters, romantic communication, enjoying the arts, having a movie night, or a pajama day.

This is not a time when you want to exert too much pressure on yourself. It’s not a great time for strenuous activities, exercise, or rigorous mental work. It’s a time for the softer pleasures and the creative side of life.

Now we have an emerging super conjunction of Saturn, Neptune, North Node, Mercury and Venus retrograde which affects us from the end of this week into next, shines a light on unresolved love, financial, sibling and self-worth issues tied to your past.
