Dearest, welcome back to the Weekly Tarotscope, this time for December 5th-11th. I’m looking forward to getting some clarity on the upcoming cosmic events, cause they could certainly pack a punch.
Mercury, the planet of communication, is moving into Capricorn this week, bringing a more grounded energy to our exchanges. You may find yourself in situations that call for claiming your authority through messages or spoken words as well as body language.
Venus, the planet of love is also moving into Capricorn this week. The planet of love in Capricorn accentuates our desire for long-term, solid love. You may find yourself advocating for a more traditional approach to scenarios involving social groups, friends, and romance. Alternatively, you may decide to get some space from your partnership.
Mercury forms a square to Jupiter, which leaves us at risk of overpromising or portraying something/ourselves inauthentically. You could start to justify procrastination during this transit, so be aware of this if you’re hoping for a more productive day.
Sun opposite Mars brings a sense of urgency to our life approach. We could feel a need to ‘rush ahead’ in a way that’s relevant to your current experience. The Mars is also in retrograde, signaling a need/wish to suppress your frustration or assertiveness.
Sun sextile Saturn is an opportunity to ‘come clean’ in the most mature way. This could apply to you or another person. The best part about this transit is that it’s very dynamic, meaning that there is a lot of opportunity to improve your dedication and perseverance. But you have to actively choose this, it won’t just fall into your lap.
The Sun square Neptune is a doozy since it tends to make our focus and motivation foggy and dull. You can expect to feel drained during this transit. The answer is usually not to duck out of responsibility entirely but to admit where you’re unfocused or groggy if needed. Avoid self-diagnosing during this time, since it can breed anxiety.
There’s so much going on this week, I can barely keep up. It’s an absolute roller coaster ride of a week, especially with so much interaction from the all-powerful Sun.
To figure out what all of this means for YOU, look for your Sun or rising sign down below. The Tarot is deeply entwined with astrology and decodes tricky transits like these for people like you and me. Give it a look, loves.
Weekly Tarotscope for Aries: Nine of Wands
Aries, there is a great deal being asked of you, and honestly, you’re probably tired of having to ‘step up to the plate’ all the time. After getting the Tower last week, I can imagine that you might want to wave your white flag. But the 9 of Wands tells me that you WILL succeed if you just give the little that you have left.
The 9 of Wands is a mixed card that has you clouded with self-doubt, but with a sense that you’ll find hope if you just hold out a little longer. You’ll be tempted to cop out and give up, but as an Aries, I know
that you’ll lean into your strong intuition and follow through on it. Learn to distinguish the unhelpful thoughts from the helpful and it will be smoother sailing.
Weekly Tarotscope for Taurus: Page of Pentacles
Taurus, this week the Page of Pentacles indicates a message is on its way to you. You may expect to get some news, usually positive. The suit of pentacles symbolizes manifesting of the spiritual into the physical. This could be a message or correspondence that involves gaining abundance.
The page always asks us to live in our childlike energy once more. The page in this sense asks you to once again indulge in the magic of life, and ‘dance like no one is watching’. In letting down your guard you will once again be in connection with the flow of life and the planet, which begins drawing your abundance to you swiftly.
Weekly Tarotscope for Gemini: Ten of Swords
Despite recently stepping into your power, someone else may not be able to stand your confidence. Insecure people can cause serious hurt when they’re not self-aware. The 10 of Swords can indicate a betrayal and a sense that there is nothing else to be done here.
With Mars in your own sign and your ruler (Mercury) entering your house of endings, you can rest assured that this is the official end to the situation that may have been causing you stress for so long. Some things in life we must submit to. We were simply outfoxed, and it happens. Being gentle with yourself as your wounds heal is key.
Weekly Tarotscope for Cancer: King of Swords
Cancer, last week you had the Justice card, which I think is so appropriate to preceed the King of Swords. The balance that you learned last week is paying off in your presence and sense of authority. You’re wiser for the personal realizations that you’ve come to, and this week others can expect to see you being honest but not unfair, standing in your power.
The King of Swords on my card wears blue and is flanked by ravens. Both of these things indicate a spiritual side to this cards interpretation. Just because you logically know that you’re right doesn’t mean that you’re seeing every side of the situation. Incorporating your compassion and empathy into your decisions is not only advisable but totally necessary to make the best decision.
And the ‘right’ decision is not always the best one.
Weekly Tarotscope for Leo: Seven of Pentacles
Leo, the 7 of Pentacles indicates that you’ve been putting in 110% and now you can see all of that hard work and dedication paying off. After a while of giving a project/person your all, you can now begin to admire what all of that hard work has allowed for you.
As Mercury and Venus move into Capricorn, you may find yourself putting in more effort and being more consistent than ever. If it feels like you’ve reached the end of your rope, keep going. The 7 of Pentacles tells me that you’ll be able to take a breath and pat yourself on the back very soon.
Weekly Tarotscope for Virgo: Ace of Wands
While some signs may experience Venus in Capricorn as a drag, you’re feeling it as an invigorating energy that you can’t suppress. The Ace of Wands tells me that your inner spark and motivation is back. After the ‘tower’ moment from a few weeks ago, you seem to have gotten your drive back!
The Ace of Wands comes up when you’ve conceived a new project, relationship, or general life focus. You’re alive with the power of love and creativity! This firey wand energy may be fueling thoughts about a relationship, a new endeavor, business, or motivation to bring a child into the world. No matter what, this is a new beginning.
Weekly Tarotscope for Libra: Page of Cups
Libra, all Page cards have a connection to children (such as our ‘inner’ child and our own childlike qualities) as well as messages. The Page of Cups indicates that you might receive news or have a realization regarding your romantic or emotional life.
Good news is on its way to you, Libra. As planets enter Capricorn in your house of our emotional roots, you will be reintroduced to old versions of yourself which arise in response to situations around you. The Page of Cups lets you know that your ability to meet these old versions of yourself with kindness, compassion, and nonjudgment will ultimately allow you to honor all versions of you, past and present.
Weekly Tarotscope for Scorpio: Nine of Pentacles
Last week you gained such emotional insight that you’re having breakthroughs and realizations regarding your life’s purpose and meaning. You found such depth of self-understanding that this week you’re seeing your life from a whole new perspective. You’ve been more blessed than you’ve known, and this week it shows.
You’re coming into alignment with your own expectations for yourself. Perhaps after some deep introspection last week, you’ve come to realize this week that you’ve come farther than you knew. Enjoy the benefits of being you this week, Scorpio.
Weekly Tarotscope for Sagittarius: Five of Swords
Sagittarius, the 5 of Swords can come as a warning to choose your battles wisely in the upcoming week. The 5 of Swords indicates that a battle has been fought (or could be soon) and that being set on ‘winning’ will ultimately make you lose.
How can this be? Sometimes fighting to the death just isn’t necessary and it was the right choice to just let it go. As Venus and Mercury leave your sign, be careful that you’re not stubbornly defending that which simply doesn’t require that level of protection.
Weekly Tarotscope for Capricorn: Nine of Swords
The 9 of Swords is one of the more difficult cards to work through because it symbolizes realizing that we’re in a prison of our own making. The 9 of Swords tells me that this week it’s sinking in that you’ve been deluding yourself about how ‘bad’ your actions/assumptions/thoughts actually were.
The good news is, this feeling only comes once we become aware of the damage that we’ve done. When this card comes around, you’ll be more equipped to get out of the prison that you’ve unintentionally built around yourself. At the time, the walls felt like protection, but really they were unhelpful insulators keeping you from growth.
Weekly Tarotscope for Aquarius: Two of Swords
Aquarius, the 2 of Swords card is an indicator of being in the dark. You may find yourself having to make a decision, but being fully unsure of what the best answers are. The Two of Swords indicates having to make a choice between two or more things/situations/people.
The Two of Swords tells that your judgment must come from a place of logic and reason, but not at the expense of intuition. You must follow your gut and what you feel is right over what is right ‘on paper’ alone. You don’t have a lot of information, but use what you do have to your advantage, even if it’s just a feeling.
Weekly Tarotscope for Pisces: King of Wands
Pisces, last week you were reminded that others aren’t always on your side, but this week you’re stepping into your power as the King of Wands enters. You’ve realized that you’re exposed to others, but you’re also realizing that that only matters if you let it matter.
Realizing your deep strength and power, you’ve stepped into a realization of how security in yourself is often the only ‘shield’ you need. The King of Wands is entrepreneurial and unafraid to start new projects or share his emotions. Your inspiration to move forward confidently is strong.
Darlings, this week was nothing short of invigorating. Just as I suspected, many signs are now realizing the work that they’ve put in to get where they are.
The Capricorn energy moving in this week will quickly help us realize how close or far away we are from where we desire to be. Some signs are reaping the benefits, and others are wishing they’d done more.
No matter what, we’ll all make it through this week one way or another. Next week the energy gets a little foggy, so you’ll definitely want the tarot to act as your guide.
And if you’re someone whose weekly tarotscope didn’t reflect heavy love and romance themes, don’t fear. Everyone still has a message from the tarot about romance, love, and partnership specifically.
Goodness knows that we all can use some assistance in the realm of romance! Because of that, I’ve partnered with a friend to provide you all with this amazing love and romance three-card tarot draw.
I can attest to the power and accuracy of this tool personally. Don’t waste time, move along and get yourself some clarity.
I’ll see you all next week, my loves.
Wishing You All the Luck in the Universe,
