Weekly Tarotscope For December 26th – January 1st

Hey sweethearts, welcome back to the weekly tartoscope, this time for December 26th-January 1st. As we round out this year, there are some distinct messages from the planets, but they’re hard to interpret sometimes.

That’s why the tarot can be a helpful and insightful tool to extract a profound, personalized meaning from often confusing planetary movements.

Mercury in Capricorn is forming a sextile to Neptune within the sign of Pisces this week, which brings a healthy amount of flexibility to the way that we think and interact.

Mercury in sextile to Neptune brings a dreamy quality to our minds. We may be prone to daydreaming, but sextile is an active aspect that requires participation. To reap the benefits, engage in the energy around you to find that you have more control over your environment than you thought.

Venus in a sextile to Neptune occurs right after Mercury and Neptune part ways. Venus sextile Neptune is extra empowering to Venus (planet of love) because Neptune is strong in Pisces and Venus is exalted in Pisces.

This basically means that these two play extra well together. The compassion of Venus tied to the empathy of Neptune can assist you in being someone’s saving grace.

You could find yourself being synced with the universe at large and the ebbs and flows of other people. You are able to take advantage of your natural charm and allure even more than usual as the sextile helps people perceive you as ‘mysterious’.

Mercury conjuncting Venus in the sign of Capricorn is a fairly common, but rarely unpleasant transit. This allows our words and way of communicating to sparkle with the affability of Venus.

This is a great week to declare your love for someone since you can communicate your most authentic affection at this time.

Venus then conjuncts Pluto to round out the week, which can honestly go any direction. Pluto represents our hidden desires and what we need to lose in order to unite with the rawest part of ourselves.

Pluto with Venus is often a sign that old fears within the context of relationships and partnerships can arise once more. You could be placed in a situation that triggers insecurities, or, a situation may occur that creates a wound in the context of your partnership.

This is not to say that every couple is doomed, far from it. This transit happens at least once a year, sometimes more. As a result, this ends up being a dramatic week in otherwise healthy partnerships.

With all of that being said, let’s move forward into deciphering these astral codes with the help of the tarot.

Aries

Weekly Tarotscope for Aries: Knight of Swords

Aries, the Knight of Swords tarot card calls for quick thinking as you pursue your ideas. The swords suit tells me that this week is a very mentally stimulating week for you as you take swift action in the direction of your goals.

The Knight of Swords specifically resonates with the sign of Libra, which resides within your house of partnerships and is ruled my Venus.

Venus’ interactions this week are many, so perhaps you and your partner are taking action together. Perhaps the action that you’re taking is towards some task that will further solidify you both as a unit, like marriage or investing in something together. Perhaps even as business partners.

Taurus

Weekly Tarotscope for Taurus: Judgement

Taurus, major arcana cards two weeks in a row? You’re really putting off some main character energy, honey.

Judgement makes perfect sense to me, because Capricorn is heavily emphasized this week. Capricorn within your 9th house of faith, principles, and morals tells me that your task is to continue that route of discovering where you stand as well as walking the walk when it comes to what you believe.

Ask yourself if you’re judging others too harshly this week. Or, is your judgment right on the money and others would like you to sway?

Be like a judge this week, and attempt to look impartially at your experiences and thoughts. After interactions with others, examine your exchange to see how judgmental your language was towards yourself or others.

A judge is supposed to believe nothing unless it’s proven, remember. So look impartially at others this week and give yourself the benefit of the doubt as well.

Gemini

Weekly Tarotscope for Gemini: The Fool

Gemini, what a spectacular gift to receive The Fool card this week. The Fool is an exceptionally lucky card, since it is empowered by all the faith and wonder of a child. Children are taught over time to have fear responses and anxieties. The Fool is an indicator that you’re entering a fresh phase of life.

The Fool is the ultimate green light in the tarot. Whatever fresh start, new adventure, or next phase you’re looking to move into, do it. Don’t hesitate, don’t doubt, don’t question, just go.

Others could say that you are, well, foolish. Perhaps they think it’s silly to open up the 4th pizza restaurant in this neighborhood and that the market is too saturated. Don’t be infected by this thought! Let your pure innocent heart lead the way in the situations at hand.

I encourage you to engage fully with your dreams and realize that your greatest power is your ignorance. That may make you scratch your head. But letting market research, prospective growth patterns, or other ways of analyzing the value of your dream is the best way to stay unsuccessful. Believe in your goal and direction with the faith of a child and you’ll be carried to success.

Cancer

Weekly Tarotscope for Cancer: 2 of Cups

Cancer, the 2 of Cups is an obvious card for you with so many transits through the sign of Capricorn. Capricorn is the sign representing your ideal partner who will teach you the lessons needed to carry on in life.

The 2 of Cups is a beautiful card because while each figure on the card has their own cup, indicating they are their own people, they sit on the same large lotus flower together. They are able to be themselves because of their respect and dedication to one another.

This is a card typically representing blossoming new relationships. In the context of your chart, this goes double for you. You can expect to have a cup overflowing with love and appreciation, and carried by your faith and love for one another.

Leo

Weekly Tarotscope for Leo: 10 of Swords

Last week you received the 9 of Swords, and this week the next card, the 10 of Swords. This is a strong message to reevaluate your life and your decisions. It’s not too late by any means.

The 9 of Swords represented a period where you were filled with anxiety, disappointment, regret, or loss. The 10 of Swords represents the hard truths you’re being faced with after experiencing such a tense period of time.

The 10 of Swords tells me that you must be willing to let go of your attachment to old versions of yourself. The suit of Swords must cut away, poke, and prod until you’re ready to make the final blow. This can apply to bad habits, addictions, ways of communicating, thought patterns, and anything that plagues you from within your own mind.

Virgo

Weekly Tarotscope for Virgo: Knight of Cups

Virgo, the Knight of Cups is a powerful card of creation. As I mentioned last week, Capricorn energy (which is abundant right now) activates your house of creativity and self-expression. You have a lot to get out of your system, and the Knight of Cups indicates that you’re taking a lot of joy in doing so.

The Knight of Cups represents you coming into your most emotionally aligned state. Other people can’t help but be attracted to someone so in attunement with the Universe. This includes potential romantic partners.

Expressing yourself authentically and loosening your filter (without sacrificing loving and compassionate communication) will attract those who appreciate your truth. Your only task right now is to keep moving in the direction of open-hearted connection, with yourself, others, and the Universe.

Libra

Weekly Tarotscope for Libra: 7 of Wands

Libra, the 7 of Wands is representative of being trapped by your own ego. It’s possible that in an effort to be everything to everyone, you’re compromising your values somehow.

The 7 of Wands is best approached when we remember that we are both more important and less important than we think. Our full attention and capability should focus more on making ourselves a whole person instead of making everyone else a whole person.

You’re the most important person in the world to yourself, even if it doesn’t feel that way. Others are also looking for their own love, but instead fill their cracks with the love of others. You’re meant to fix your own heart, not the hearts of others (at least this week).

Scorpio

Weekly Tarotscope for Scorpio: The Moon

The Moon represents a situation where your current situation is deepening and intensifying. You may have heard that there is a path or way to go in this situation, but as it turns out, you must go through a confusing and overgrown forest to get to charted land again.

You’re being asked to trust your instincts and your senses. With Capricorn in your house of thought, communication, and mental connections you can expect that a lot of the confusion is happening within your own mind and in your perception of the world around you.

This week may have you struggling to understand where others are coming from, but this isn’t to say that it’s a ‘bad’ thing. You are still capable of being endearing and loved by others even if you’re unsure if you’re being perceived that way.

Sagittarius

Weekly Tarotscope for Sagittarius: Ace of Wands

Sagittarius, the Ace of Wands is like the incredible energy of the big bang. Unplanned, unforeseen, and not altogether understood. The suit of Wands corresponds to fire, meaning that you’re in your element this week.

The Ace of Wands tells me that you can expect putting forth raw, unfiltered passion in some way. Sometimes you’re struck with inspiration that you don’t understand, but should never question.

Jupiter in Aries is the only major planet within a fire sign at this time, and it’s within your house of creativity and expression. The Universe is encouraging you to think less and create more. You were given this idea for a reason…you were the one meant to bring this divine inspiration to earth to be shared.

Capricorn

Weekly Tarotscope for Capricorn: King of Swords

The King of Swords is your card, Capricorn, which tells me that you’re meant to combine action and thought this week. The King of Swords is quick, capable, and assertive. You’re meant to embody these traits this week, or, you will have interactions with someone who embodies these traits.

The suit of Swords is important to you at this time, since Saturn is within the air sign Aquarius. You’re wise and have made mistakes before, but have chosen to be empowered by these mistakes instead of disempowered.

This week, speak when you need to and be authentic in your speech. The honorable King would never say something that he wouldn’t say in front of everyone he knows. Embody this quality and speak from the heart and reserve judgments.

Aquarius

Weekly Tarotscope for Aquarius: 2 of Pentacles

Aquarius, you’re on the ball this upcoming week. You can find yourself being asked to balance many things in the upcoming week, which is difficult for many people, and yet, you could find it easier than you think to be on you’re a-game.

With all of that said, you should be aware of your surroundings, obligations, and responsibilities this week. But on top of that, ensure that your health is being taken care of in all of the activity.

The 2 of Pentacles signals success in balancing multiple things at once. If you’ve found yourself needing a productive week then this is an excellent one to get some work done in.

Pisces

Weekly Tarotscope for Pisces: The High Priestess

As Neptune within your own sign is lit up with energy from Venus and Mercury, your feminine and masculine energies are becoming balanced. Planets within Capricorn are forming sextiles to your own sign which assists you in recognizing yourself as the divine being that you are.

The High Priestess is a powerful card, but not in the obvious crackling electricity way like the Magician. Instead, her power comes from accessing hidden realms inside of herself. She find unity with the Universe the deeper that she travels into her own intuition.

The High Priestess signals a period of stillness for you that ultimately enlightens you in a profound, and deeply personal way. The High Priestess is your sign to accept that you’re connected to all that is. This week, you’re being given the gift of sight to see the lines that connect us all.

Trusting your intuition and leaning into synchronicity will deepen your experience.
