Welcome back, my loves, to the weekly Tarotscope, this time for the week of December 12th-18th.
Here I cover the planetary transits for the week and then deliver a message to you from the Tarot regarding how you’ll experience the transits on a personal level.
The Sun is in Sagittarius for only this week before switching signs. The Sun forms a sextile to Saturn, which may have mixed experiences.
The Sun in a sextile to Saturn brings together the energy of the ego with the lack of ego. The Sun is proud and Saturn is humbling. As such, this transit may show places in our identities that don’t fit us.
Some people may feel that they don’t want to be a certain kind of person anymore and take positive approaches to upgrade themselves.
This transit can feel sobering, but the sextile aspect ensures that there is a way to turn it in your favor if you’re open-minded to it.
The Sun in a square to Neptune can feel disruptive to our sense of self, health, and boundaries. Our self-esteem may deepen this week as Neptune drains of our energy and focus.
Mercury then forms a trine to Uranus, bringing many people genius insights about their understanding of something or someone. This is a transit that indicates having great ideas and solving problems that have been lingering for a long time with newfound speed and inspiration.
This is a great transit for connecting with your friend group or reaching out to those you haven’t spoken to in a long time.
Without further adieu, my loves, find your Rising or Sun sign down below to find out how these planetary movements are bound to manifest within your own experience.
Weekly Tarotscope for Aries: Knight of Wands
Aries, last week you were also in the suit of Wands, being asked to hold on and keep putting in energy just a little longer. Well, this week appears to be the time when you can expect success.
The Knight of Wands signifies movement, positive change, speed, and initiative. This is the time to take the bull by the horns and charge forward.
Last week (and perhaps as you read this) you could have felt consumed by the idea of holding on and staying the course for even one more minute. This is your time to make a break for it and move in the direction of your truest desires.
Take advantage of the invigorating energy this week, Aries!
Weekly Tarotscope for Taurus: Queen of Cups
The Queen of Cups is such a delightful card and the comfort represented here radiates in alignment with what you value, Taurus. Your ability to hold space for those you love is your greatest gift in this upcoming week.
The Queen of Cups is gentle, secure, and unafraid to open herself up to emotions. This is a very ‘motherly’ position and you could find yourself attracting those who need comfort.
You are deeply intuitive, and your emotions are in tune with what others need. Don’t ignore gut feelings this week, Taurus. Don’t ignore your emotions at all, in fact. Express yourself honestly, but with the utmost kindness and respect for yourself and others.
Weekly Tarotscope for Gemini: Two of Pentacles
With the trine between your ruler, Mercury, and Uranus this week, this card is almost shockingly perfect. Just as Mercury trine Uranus will throw the unexpected at you, the Two of Pentacles features a figure who balances two pentacles rising up and down.
It’s important to note that even though he’s balancing two moving objects, he seems to do so effortlessly.
This tells me that even as that which you can’t predict comes your way this week, your key to approaching it is to ensure balance and energy in all areas of your life. Getting into a positive flow and engaging in the activities presented to you will ensure that you remain stable and steady.
Weekly Tarotscope for Cancer: The World
Cancer, The World is an overwhelmingly positive card that signifies a satisfying completion of some kind in your life. The feeling of being at the top of the world is an apt description for this card.
This week you could be traveling (literally on top of the world) to someplace life-changing. Even if it’s not that literal, you can bet that you’ll feel as if you’ve ‘leveled up’ or gotten closer to your ultimate destiny.
The wonderful part about this card is that it indicates that with whomever or however you’ve upgraded, it’s here to stay. Perhaps the Sun sextile Saturn is indicating that you’ve found ‘the one’ and it’s really sinking in this week.
Weekly Tarotscope for Leo: Five of Swords
Leo, the Five of Swords is an indicator that you should reexamine how you’re approaching conflicts with others. As a fire sign with a big ego, it’s important to you to win. You want to impress others and meet your own expectations of yourself.
However, sometimes trying too hard to get ahead, look good, or be the funniest just leaves you embarrassed. This week, opportunities to gloat or show off are present, but I don’t recommend taking them.
It’s not always a good thing to be the winner. If everyone sees how insecure you are and how badly you needed that win, then you’ll just end up looking foolish.
Weekly Tarotscope for Virgo: The Star
Virgo, it’s interesting to me that you’ve gotten The Star again since it seems that you just got this card not too long ago. You once again find yourself at the well of peace and acceptance of your circumstances.
Perhaps you exerted yourself a bit too much last week. You were deeply inspired and motivated, and yet, that doesn’t mean that it wasn’t tiring.
The Star could be you coming back down to Earth, and realizing that some mountains you can move and some you can’t, and that’s okay. Being okay with your physical, mental, and emotional limits and honoring them will pay off in the long run.
Weekly Tarotscope for Libra: King of Cups
Libra, the King of Cups is a sign of being secure in your emotional expression. No matter how tenderhearted a leader you are, you currently have no problem finding that inner drive and fire.
You’re learning to be secure in your kindness. You can take joy in making others happy while also standing up for your own interests.
The King of Cups asks you to be secure in your feminine and masculine energy. You’re no less an authority or a badass just because you have feelings and emotional reactions. Your feelings can be your greatest power.
Weekly Tarotscope for Scorpio: Knight of Swords
Scorpio, the Knight of Swords tells me that your lesson this week is on making quick decisions. You’ll have to learn when it’s a good time to hold back and when it’s a better time to rush ahead.
This card gives you the momentum to pursue what you might normally talk yourself out of. The downside to this card is moving forward with no thought, which can have consequences at times.
However, you might not care about the consequences so much for whatever reason this week. You may be laser-focused on a personal objective that drives you to action with little regard for reasons against what you’re doing.
Weekly Tarotscope for Sagittarius: The Moon
Sagittarius, there is more going on than you think there is right now. The Moon signifies what is hidden and secret from us.
This week, the Sun squaring to Neptune seems to have created some mystery that you’re attempting to clarify this week. Whether it’s a mystery or your mind playing tricks on you is another question.
Neptune’s energy could make you easy to deceive by lulling you into letting down your guard. The Moon can represent hidden enemies. With the knowledge that not everyone has the best intentions for you, it’s important to be mindful of what you disclose to others.
Weekly Tarotscope for Capricorn: Two of Wands
Capricorn, the Two of Wands is a good sign after a week of mental stress last week with the Nine of Swords. It seems that you’re making a strong action plan to change your approach to the problems that plagued you last week.
The Two of Wands does not mean that it’s time to move into action yet. Instead, you’ve got opportunities to look at your future and draw out what you’d like to see.
Capricorn, you don’t usually like to mince words and it’s important to you to take action. However, whatever is on your mind needs more planning. You will be able to take off in the future, but right now you’re meant to further define the details of your plans.
I have a feeling that next week, once the Sun enters your sign, you’ll get the green light.
Weekly Tarotscope for Aquarius: The Tower
Aquarius, anyone who knows something about Tarot could tell you the Tower is a tough card to deal with. It represents a lightning strike of action and energy in an extremely jolting way. It typically can be read as a card of breakdown and destruction brought about by sudden change.
The Tower is not all bad though. Its real purpose is to expose what is authentic and real under all the facades. For example, a relationship with someone else that had time to establish a solid foundation of love before this event could find themselves stronger after their Tower moment.
Remember, after the Tower comes the Star. Even though this week feels like enough to destabilize you, you’ll get some much-needed perspective, no matter what.
Weekly Tarotscope for Pisces: The Lovers
Is there a better card for relationships in the deck? I don’t think so. Your relationships with others are of vital importance this week, Pisces. Especially one other person.
If you’ve been single then this week could be the week that officially changes that. You’re being seen by others in a good light at this time, and you’re attracting the sort of person who sees only the good in you.
If you’re in a partnership, then you may expect to grow a closer bond together. You may reignite your passion for one another and the relationship.
A lot of signs got Major Arcana cards this week I noticed. It seems that many of us are giving off main character energy, huh? I totally support it!
If you are seeking clarity on what the upcoming transits could bring specifically to your love life, well, you’re not alone.
Many of my readers lament that their card wasn’t The Lovers, The Two of Cups, or The Queen of Cups and so their love life has no significance this week.
I’ve partnered with a friend to create a spectacular free three tarot card reading to deepen the main message that you’ve received here.
Don’t fret babes, I’ve always got you covered.
With that, until we meet again, loves!
Wishing you all the luck in the Universe,
